Hi Dugal! Ol' Doug is a bit impatient in his advancing age & scarce gives me a chance to reply :-) Contrary to the contrarian, I'm happy to provide some more information :-) Re: as a relative newbie to the list Welcome aboard! We could use some fresh inputs :-) Re: half-dozen varieties started for greenhouse propagation this year in the NorthWest. What ones are you grwoing? What are you finding does well for you up that way? Re: I really wish I could say I was bringing the trailer and the tribe to open fields So do we! You know that there is also the option of a bus trip, or flying :-) You certainly won't be alone doing that. You also don't stand a chance of winning the 'furthest out' prize :-) Re: figure out who to grease to get a copy of this year's poster, if there is one. Not much figuring out to it- you get them from me :-) More specifically off of my site, but I don't have them up there yet. Still on there is last years 'Amber Waves of Pain'. Yup- there is one... as soon as I can find the file again :-) It is "Podzilla" and features our favorite sci-fi monster with a body that is made up of an orange habanero. Mr Jeff S didn't do it this year. After so many years of outstanding work, he gets a break this year :-) Happily accepting themes for next year. We'll do that in the next post. -Jim C Mild to Wild(R)
