Hey Everyone, We will be going to Peru August 4-14th And of course I will have the opportunity to enjoy Rocoto's and Aji's at most every meal. I have noticed that the Rocoto doesn't seem to have as much heat there. Although they get quite a bit larger. The temperature in Arequipa where they grow a lot of Rocoto's is 70s year round with the nights in the 50s. The Aji's are grown more in the north. I guess it's our hot days that kick up the heat level. We will be holding 5 - 6 dental clinics on this trip. 3 or 4 in the poor pueblo's surrounding Arequipa. And another 2 about a 5 hour drive up into the Andes, in the Colca Canyon area. We are able to help around 1,000 people during these clinics. If your interested in finding out more about this or would like to volunteer to go on one of these trips here is the website of the group we work with.
