I've been lucky enough to have been on Cristina's informal tour and I even 
believe I was "the friend" who discovered the mole taco vendor (although I 
think I would have called them quesadillas.) Maybe it wasn't even me. Who 
knows? The others in my group wanted pastries for breakfast and as much as I 
love almost everything Mexican, I don't really get too wowed by their 
pastries. And I prefer savory food to "comfort food" anyway. So I was 
wondering off and saw hot lard and the rest is history.

I added a few days in Guadalajara to make sure there was no chance of not 
gaining some pounds.
