Hi Alex, Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah, I think
I deserve to post occasionally seeing it was so much
work to join!

By the way, in the days it took me to answer, I
perused the photobucket web site and was totally
engrossed! This would be like very nice vacation for
me. (OK, maybe a FUN vacation attached to another
one.) I also read posts from the fireman guy who grows
the rows of veggies. (Open Fields) He seems to be a
very nice guy with his head in the right place. (If
you're reading... good job!). One thing that struck
me was the number of half-gallons of hard liquor
present. My god, here we go.

I wish I new which vars. were among the 40. I guess
I'll have to go to find out. I play guitar (I saw
someone there who does). I like to cook (I saw many
who do), it just seems FUN. When I saw fresh chiles
cut up for sampling, I thought it was a picture of
heaven.

Tonight, I purchased a pint of Hagen Dazs Mango
sorbet. I will puree some peach habs tomorrow. I
want to incorporate them into the ice cream somehow.
Never tried it. I don't want to melt the sorbet and
refreeze it, so if anyone knows how to blend chiles
into sorbet or ice cream let me know. Maybe the best
way is to make some ice cream from scratch.

Again, thanks Alex for the post.

 Adios,
