> Is it time to start trading seeds yet? Matt, Haven't made any powders this year yet. Been a terrible growing year for me although will have 'plenty' of pods frozen by wintertime. Just a small backyard container gardener here. My 3rd year C. pubs are doing the worst and am most probably going to go to a two year growing & replanting from seed cycle on them. A little early for seed trading still. MarvL (one of these links should work): http://www.fototime.com/5427A93CAB8700A/conv.wmv http://www.fototime.com/5427A93CAB8700A/orig.mpg is in charge of CTCPC seed distribution this year. Although I haven't done my part much (bagging or isolating plants for pure seed) there is going to be more than plenty vars available. Finally back from shopping for meatball ingredients. Some were really hard to find (RisaG) and will be making some substitutions. Really anxious for Saturday to arrive so can start smoking them. Kinda a warm-up for O.F. cooking. jt ----- Original Message ----- From: Matt Evans To: JohnT Cc: chile-heads@globalgarden.com Sent: Friday, September 16, 2005 9:35 AM Subject: Re: [CH] Meatballs (thanks!) JohnT -- Are you still making those powders from pickled chiles? The powders I tasted last winter were absolutely exceptional -- powdered hot sauce! I intended to try and make some myself this summer, but there wasn't much of a garden to speak of, unfortunately. Hopefully, the next house will have as much garden space as this house....and, more importantly, hopefully I'll have more time next season. Is it time to start trading seeds yet?
