Congratulations Bill! There is a lot to be said when a white chili takes Best Overall, it must have been a good one. Maybe next time you could slip in some white habaneros ;-). I know you and your daughter put your hearts into it too. Got pix? I have seen the bean thickening thing before, especially with navy or white beans. I guess it is working a bit like the masa harina paste added to a red chili. Congrats again.... it did get a bit cooler down here, a big pot of Texas Red (no beans) may be in order soon!
