Hi All -- I was really hoping that this would be a good idea and that it would be helpful both to "consumer" list members and the corporate types on the list. However, the response has been quite the opposite -- from statements of "why bother" to correspondence bordering on hostility. At any rate, here is the list of folks who have responded to me up until this point. Susan has graciously offered to host the list, and I plan on sending it to her sometime tomorrow. So, if you have any corrections or additions, please let me know before then. I might not buy much that is chile-related, but when I do, I always strive to purchase from list members. I typically do not call out the fact that I am a list member when I place the order because I do not want the proprieter to feel "obligated" to send me anything extra. If anything, I am happy just giving my business to someone who is "chasing a dream" that perhaps we all have (or, am I romanticizing this too much?). As such, I have ordered items from several list members, but they likely never knew my affiliation when I placed the order.
