Matt, Did you get any seed offers? Unfortunately I didn't save many seeds last year, but can offer fatalii seeds from the 2004 Open Fields. And I have a few saved seeds from 2005 pods that fellow Rogue pod-heads sent me. The Yellow Habs from Beth in Texas were especially good & hot. No idea yet how well either will germinate. Planted (surface sowed ... that's what I do) a few seeds ea last Sunday afternoon and so far not so much as a radicle. And if you or any other chile-head missed the Feb Unwrapped airing of "Atomic" and want a copy please let me know. http://www.fototime.com/C4FD5B4B37EE58E/orig.jpg I can put on CD or DVD. Hot regards, JohnT ----- Original Message ----- From: Matt Evans To: Chilehead Sent: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 8:35 AM Subject: [CH] Fatalli Seeds Hi All -- Does anyone still actively trade seeds in these parts? Due to my general slackness over the past couple of years, I have come to find out that I am slam out of fatalli seeds. I got my originals from the USDA and subsequently spread many of the seeds from my first year plants around this list. They were probably the hottest chiles I have ever tasted. So, what I am looking for is one of two things -- (1) someone with some fatalli seeds looking to trade for other seeds; or (2) a few suggestions for chiles to grow....but, perhaps I should explain. I already have 20-25 varieties picked out for this year, but if I can't find someone to trade fatalli seeds, I will order some (I know there are at least two list members who sell the seeds) -- it seems silly to place a $2 order, so I would likely order several types just to bulk things up -- any suggestions? For anyone wishing to trade, send me an off-list email letting me know what you would like. My mailing address is: Matt Evans 1416 Crete Drive Raleigh, NC 27606 Thanks in advance.
