Looks pretty convincing. It's chinense. From their "Developing the Doset
Naga" page:

<quote>
Dorset Naga is a Capsicum chinense developed by us, Michael and Joy Michaud,
at Peppers by Post in West Dorset. From the outset we want to make it clear
that we never set out to develop a new variety of chilli. We are market
gardeners, and our only intention was to find an unusual chilli that we
could sell to our customers.
</quote>

It also looks like the Nagahari (name from the above site) which the Indian
scientist Dr. Das from Tezpul analyzed, and called ‘Naga Jolokia’. If its
indeed a chinense and not a frutesens it's more compelling as a contender.
Similar name, too, as they point out the Doset Naga was selected from stock
originally called Naga Morich, from the same geographical area, too. iirc,
the Indian firm was criticized more for methodology, and not submitting a
sample to an (expensive) qualified testing lab.

My Chocolate habs were much hotter than the Savinas next to them. Not
definitive, but suggestive that another chinense could be reliably hotter
than a Savina.

Hot regards,

Riley
