Proof that as chileheads, we're crazy ;-)

$3,051 for a bottle of hot sauce?!

An anonymous bidder just paid that amount for a set of hot sauce bottles
on an eBay auction that ended August 6th.  The signed, numbered, limited
edition set was created by two of the titans in the industry- Blair
Lazar of "Death Sauce" fame and John Hard of CaJohns Fiery Foods.  It
was done as a fund raiser to help an Indianapolis area firefighter raise
money for several charities as part of his quest to break the world
record for stair climbing.  The $3,000, easily believed to be a record
for a bottle of hot sauce, will be divided among the several charities
listed at http://www.StepUpForCharity.org



And since this is only a faux release, anyone wanting to pass it along
is welcome to :-)
