Kinda depends on your relative humidity. If it's low, you can hang the pods with lot's of air circulation and the seeds will cure in the pods. If your RH is high, you run the danger of the pods rotting before the seeds are viable. In that case, extract them and let them dry in a low humidity area. I'm curious, I've seen it mentioned both ways about harvesting seeds. Many say extract seeds from a fresh but ripe pod, while others say air dry the seeds in the pod and then brake it open.
