A couple more tips. Set transplants in pots, use potting mix, makes the pots lighter. For the summer, dig a hole for the pot, insert pot in the ground, with the top of the pot an inch or two above the soil line, This keeps the roots a little cooler, and you won't need to water as often, also keeps a few of the creepy crawlers out. Then when summer is done, just pull the pot out of the ground and rinse it off, this saves transplant shock. L.B.
