After going vegan for a couple of years to attempt to lower cholesteral, ( didn't work) we went back to eating the way we had prior to that failed experiment. So, we eat pork, chicken, very little beef(Marie is allergic to it) and all seafood. Oh yeah.....lots of chile peppers, in various ways. Strangely, however Marie is able to eat veal, so we have that as well. No lamb, however! I grew up on mutton which my mother insisted in serving, and vowed I would never eat wooly again! Can't even stand the smell of it cooking. I am aware that this is heresy to lamb lovers, too bad! Just like beer. I became deathly ill on a skunky beer while in my teens, and I cannot stand the smell of beer either!! However, the money I save, I spend on good wine! That and the peppers must be what has brought me to age 81 as healthy as I am :-) !?? Cheers, Doug in BC
