[CH] On the road again

It's finally happening. The movers are coming tomorrow and we're going to be
on our way to Radium Springs, 25 miles south of Hatch, the self proclaimed
Chile Capital of the World. I drove down with one vehicle and our tractor
last week, flew back and if the movers get things loaded early we will start
that way on Thursday. If not, Friday for sure. The chiles in the fields were
smaller than I expected, but I understand that the spring was quite cool.
The Rio Grande is full of water being diverted to the chiles, pecans,
onions, alfalfa and I think I saw some about ready for harvest cabbages.
I'm probably going to do a small sponsorship for the Hatch Chile Festival on
Labor Day Weekend. They're just getting the 2007 pages together. If anyone
plans to attend, let me know and we'll hook up somewhere, probably our new
back or front porch depending on the time of day and whether I can get some
homebrew cooked up:-)
