Open a window, the fumes can really get your attention. Then I seal them in glass quart mayo or canning jars, using the canning lids. Toss the jars if peppers in the freezer as Jim recommended for an extra bit of protection. I store about 50 jars of powders and whole dried chiles this way each year. Hobby Farmer
