we all know how reliable a ten day forecast is, but for the record, here 
is the forecast for open fields...looks good...tues and wed, scattered 
thundershowers, just enough to get the mud flowing, then sunny on 
thursday, to dry things out a bit...highs in the 70s, lows in the 
50s...sounds like perfect weather for a chile pickin'...

'course, as those of us who were there in y2k will testify, the weather 
can change in an hour from perfect to perfectly horrible...
