Hi Jonathan
I can't give you any specifics, but I know that customs over here is pretty strict on this sort of thing. Check out http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis They let in "professionally" prepared food that is sealed. They don't let in fresh food. Yours may be 1/2 way between.
cheers

Good morning (or appropriate local diurnal period),
I have just recently produced and bottled the first batch of my
home-made hot sauce. I have always intended to distribute this (free of
charge) to friends and colleagues, but one of the interested parties
lives in Australia, and I am located in the Midwest of the USA.
I know there are professional hot sauce makers and shippers on the list
- does anyone have specific advice regarding what's necessary not only
to ship this out, but to make sure it will arrive?
