Hi Linda, Bloodmeal is exactly as it sounds, a product made from dried animal blood (usually cattle) and used as an organic fertilizer with an NPK ratio of 15-1.3-0.7 Very high in Nitrogen, great for chiles, toms etc and will also deter most herbivore nuisances including deer. Dogs however will be very interested in the new perfume, you've just sprinkled around the chiles! cheers Mark E. in Oz ___________ zymurgia.com On 01/06/2008, at 7:08 AM, Linda Hutchinson wrote: > Please excuse my ignorance.... what IS bloodmeal? > > Linda > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: JohnT > To: chile-heads@globalgarden.com > Sent: Saturday, May 31, 2008 12:29 PM > Subject: Re: [CH] Rabbits > > > Jim writes: Another very simple solution that's actually good for > your > plants: > > get some blood meal from your greenhouse or garden center.
