According to their site, you can also use Gmail as a POP3 server (for
incoming e-mail) and an SMTP server (for outgoing e-mail).  Do a
search on google for "gmail pop3" (without the quotes) and you'll
find links to instructions on how to set things up.

For those who find this useful:  glad to help.  Anyone else is, of
course, free to delete it---it won't bother me a bit.  :-)
