My local Costco is selling these peppers: http://www.windsetfarms.com/our_products_peppers_gusto.html I'm a bit embarrassed to say I don't immediately recognize the variety of pepper. They're delicious and pack a good heat level, probably comparable to a Serrano, but they look more like big Cayennes (though they don't taste like them). Yesterday's dinner was grilled chicken soft tacos. My son doesn't seem to tolerate tomatoes well, so I made two salsas; one was your basic pico de gallo with surprisingly flavorful Romas (from Costco), the other was made with Mineolas (a tangerine/grapefruit cross - pleasantly tart, not overly sweet). I added a pinch of nutmeg to the citrus salsa to warm it a bit - and loved it. I think this is superior to the typical heavy/rich/sweet mango salsa. I also grilled a bunch of asparagus to serve on the side - I really wasn't sure what I wanted to cook when I started, so I ended-up with a sort of fusion dinner. It's nice to eat like a king without needing to apologize to my cardio-vascular system. Anyway, does anyone recognize the variety of the peppers? I think they're lovely. Dana
