Made a sorta Mexican meatloaf the other day, and after the first couple
of bites, Marie asked where the heat was? I guess I didn't spike it up
enough. So she got up and got some of Jim's pepper powder....
Seriously, I am having a big problem with my back, 25 years of lugging
Hammond organs and pianos around I guess. So, we both have a great
little Ozzie physiotherapist, who is over here every winter for six
months while our regular gal runs away to Arizona. Sorta like " Lend
Lease"!
So last week we had her over for dinner, Chinese. She sent me an email
to tell me how much she enjoyed it, so it must have been edible. Did
two Szechuan dishes and had no complaints about heat, in fact I am going
to give her some of my dried chile peppers to take home to Oz. I still
have some super chilies putting out fruit in one pot in a store room
where there is a nice bright window.
