To all who requested Marie(& John Ross')Argentine Chimichurri bread, here it is with Ree's changes, this is a bread machine recipe, however Marie does it in the BM on dough cycle, and bakes in oven. 1 cup water 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar 3 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp Mexican oregano, crumbled well 2 garlic cloves, minced 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion 3 tablespoons chopped parsley 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tablespoon sugar 3 tablespoons wheat brn 3 cups bread flour 1 3/4 tsps active dry yeast( bread machine or instant ) Place all ingredients in machines pan in order recommended by that manufacturer. Select basic or white and press start. As I mentioned, Marie uses the dough cycle and bakes in cold oven set at 325F and bake for 30 - 35 minues. She lets it rise for about half an hour prior to baking. Have fun, this is a great tasting loaf with a little kick. Not quite like "The Bread" that Jim C used to make to give away! We have made that one also, like the complexity of flavors better in this one. Cheers, Doug in BC
