But here I am! I'm from Michigan, I love hot peppers. I'm 39, and am trying to forget the fact that I will be 40 in January. In my fridge right now is a huge variety of hot sauces. Some are good, some are disappointing. I think the hottest thing I've found so far is called "357 Mad Dog." If you know of anything hotter, please share. :) Well, let me offer my own belated welcome to you. Is the 357 an extract sauce? An ex-co-worker once gave me an extract sauce called "You can't handle this hot sauce". It has molasses listed as one of the first few ingredients, so it has a flavor that's a little different than you might expect from the average hot sauce. Not that I got much flavor from it, being a moderate, I could only sample about 1/1,000,000 tsp. at a time. 40 sounds bad, but how old do you feel??? I'll hit 41 next Monday, with two boys that just turned 5 and 2, respectively. Now that can make ya' feel OLD! Shoulda' done it when we were younger... I've enjoyed lurking and reading the various recipes and chitchat. I promise I am not one of the moderate corps. :) It would be wonderful to grow my own peppers, if not for the unfortunate fact that plants hate me and inevitably die whenever I try to take care of them. Have a nice Monday, if indeed such a thing is possible. ;) --Janna If you ever want to give the growing a try, you certainly are in the right place. Have you considered starting out with just a few container plants? That's what I did way back when... though mostly due to restricted space.
