In 1998 I picked red habs that had frozen (along with me) the night before.  They rode home in 5-gallon buckets and it was like having a leaky tear gas cannister in the car with me.

Strangely enough, the Red Problem #1 sauce I made from them is still nice and red, it hasn't browned much.
