Thanks, everyone!  I have several varieties of paprika & chili  
powders, including chipotle.  Thanks Linda for the offer ( I believe  
that only the chilies were offered and not the "grinder" too)!

And...I do go a while between posts as I approach 70.  I sure cannot  
have your bragging rights, Doug, ever!

Here is the recipe for a rub

Toasted spice rub:
¼ cup fennel seeds
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1 tablespoon white peppercorns
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons kosher salt
¼ C (1-ounce) sweet chili powder
1 ½ tsp red pepper flakes

This is used on brined chicken (salt, bay leaves, black peppercorns,  
brown sugar, juniper berries) that is baked w/thyme, sherry vinegar
  (a la Michael Chiarello, a Napa Valley chef)
