My two cents.
The first leaves are a bit gnarly sometimes even with the
freshest of seed but by the end of summer one hardly remembers
what pepper seed did what at the start.
Pinch the seed casing off the tip end as they sprout when they
don't fall off.
The plants..... have no memory and will not harbor any ill will.
I have yet to receive any e-mails from any of the peppers in my garden
as a result of my doing this.
