I was watching last night's new episode of Man vs. Food on The Travel Channel. Adam was in Cleveland. The big challenge was at Melt for their 4 Pound Grilled Cheese.

Melt also had other interesting grilled cheese sandwiches one of whichnwas the Jalapeno Popper.

It was described as cream cheese, jalapenos and American? The jalapeņo cream cheese mix was sandwiched between 2 layers of cheeseyngoodnesw. So I took the idea. I didn't have thick cut white bread So I used pumpernickel.

I took some cream cheese and mixed it with some chopped up jalapeņo. I put  a slice of jalapeņo Jack cheese on 2 slices of bread. I spread the cream cheese-jalapeņo mixture between the cheesy layers. Stuck the whole thing together and the sauteed it in butter.

OMG was it amazing.

So good. Has anyone grid the real thing? Why didn't I know about Melt when I was in Cleveland a couple of summers ago? I couldn't find really good food when I was there.
