Well I'm kind of biased about this one ;-)  But, I have made it
again since I posted using tequila (I used gin the first time
as I didn't have any tequila) and I think I prefer the gin 
version.  But then again I am not incredibly fond of tequila
so that could quite likely explain things ;-)

As for serving cold - it is just great cold!!  When I did it,
I did an extra four breasts and put them in the fridge.  Then
anytime I wanted lunch (or a snack, or ...) I would just grab a
breast, slice it thinly and wrap it up in a tortilla with some
lettuce, tomato, whatever.  Really good with Chipotle Aoili as
well.  The extra four breasts only lasted two days ;-)  I
imagine that you could also use the sliced breast in a salad
with some sort of citrus vinaigrette dressing.  That should
transport to a picnic pretty easily.
