Calvins' right- hab seeds are normally white. This mold is basically due to the weather, I dimly remember. My forgotten sources also led me to believe that it is non-contagious and also non-preventable- just 'one of those things'. Some years I have as much as 3% affected, other years 0%. -Jim C MWPH
