Wow...I thought I was the only one who had problems with Pepper Gal seeds. The credit thing has always bugged me (especially 'cause I'm really bad at keeping little slips of paper for a year) and I had terrible germination rates this past year. I wound up buying a ton of seedlings from Cross Country Nurseries which, IMHO, is a classy, well-run operation. No problems with those. I had some seedlings from The Chile Woman die during transport (probably due to UPS or Massachusetts agricultural inspectors). She was very good about sending me replacements but one of those turned out to be some sort of weed. I've noticed that some Thai Giant chiles I bought from a local farm look suspiciously like jalapenos. I guess its tough to keep all these seeds/seedlings labeled and catagorized.
