  I should think the plant would respond somewhat better to the HPS lamp you
mentioned, than to the fluorescent lamps on the sides. Is there any way you
could switch the fluor. to the above position, and move the HID to the side?
You would need to obviously switch it from side to side, if space doesn't allow
you to rotate the planter. Or, you may want to try increasing the distance
between the HID fixture and the tops of the plants, if you can. Have you
considered downsizing to a 75W? I'm next to positive they are available in a
MH, not sure about an HPS. As for the pruning, I really don't know. I could
take a comfortable guess, but I'll let someone more knowledgable touch on that.
