And at the famous Barney's Beanery in West Hollywood, home of L.A.'s second
best chili according to the sign, they serve chili something like 100
different ways...including on spaghetti, fries, with cheese, without cheese,
on burgers, hot dogs...etc. I don't know if they still do it, but you used
to be able to get a "chili card", and if you tried the chili everyway they
serve it you got a jacket. Same with trying their over 100 varieties of
beer. And if nothing else, you can say you've been to the place where Janis
stopped for a drink before she went to that motel room and died.
