Desperately Seeking Shell Answer Man: So, I went to the grocery and had
Mexican chocolate on my list (the kind for mole or whatever). They had only
one brand that I could find and it was different than I've used in the past.
It was "Abuelita" (apparently the word for "Nestle" in Spanish <g>). It
also said "Autentico Chocolate Mexicano Para Mesa" (As you may have guessed,
I'm not great with Spanish but I believe this translates roughly to
Authentic Chocolate for Mexican Perry Masons, now I'm REALLY confused ;-).
Anyway, I wasn't sure this was the right stuff for mole since it also says,
"Authentic Mexican Chocolate Drink Mix". It is in a bar with Hershey's-like
squares. It gives only directions for use for making hot chocolate by
adding hot milk and sugar. Ingredients are: Sugar, chocolate liquor, soy
lecithin, cocoa butter, artificial cinnamon flavors. So is this the right
stuff for mole or should I keep looking (and for what?)?
