>the leaves began to >wilt at the ends and the stem (where the leaves attach) began to turn brown. Sounds like the blight that destroyed all my tomatoes (and borrage) this year (but didn't affect any of my chiles). In my case, it's a fungus disease due to excessively wet eather in August. Tom
