Just goes to show that you can't believe everything you read, even 
if it's by "experts". I have a single Rocoto plant which I started from 
seed in early 1998. It was planted outside and then moved into the 
greenhouse when the weather got bad. I harvested 1 fruit in January 
1999. It blossomed in the greenhouse and I lightly brushed the 
blossoms with my finger (when I remembered) and I harvested 17 
fruits last month. It's now back in the greenhouse and I just 
counted about 40 tiny fruits and 10 blossoms. Fruits are apple 
shaped, ripen green to yellow and about 2" x 1".
