[CH] That canned chile!

Well, all CHs, after knocking heck outta that canned stuff from Oregon,
(actually the can I had was from Stockton CA, at least a LITTLE closer
to the South West!) I found a can in my cupboard, that had Dynamite  on
it, with Habs and Chile de arbol.....sooooo, I opened it, stuck a fork
into it and tasted, waiting for the Dynamite.....................when
the hot stuff exploded, it went "pfft", and that was it. So, this old
guy, not wanting to waste the stuff, chopped half an onion, threw in
some ginger, garlic and a chopped hab(grown by me)simmered all the
veggies for 15 minutes, and then added the contents of the can....could
that be called Stduggs Chile?  Instead of??? Whatever, it still had to
have a good shake of Calvin's to make it edible. So, that is your laugh
for today, and now that I have dispensed with that one lonely can, I
agree with Peter in England, mine IS better! Cheers, Doug in BC
