Hi,

Don't know if I'm replying too late to this one but there is a  good Thai
restaurant, called the Thai Orchid on  Friargate near to a pub called 'It's
a scream' (yes honestly).
Preston also has a very large number of Curry houses (at least forty in or
around the town centre) with a couple on the same street as the Thai Orchid,
one is called 'The Dilshad' (I think that's how you spell It but that's how
you pronounce it anyway)

No real hot chilli places though, but if you like curries there is no
problem.
