[CH] Homemade hotsauce

I made up a miniature batch of sauce the other day based on
carp's "The Brew" recipe posted some time ago. His recipe
was on the order of gallons, this try is only about 8 oz.
(approx .2 liters?). The reasons for this are twofold: I didn't
want to commit a large quantity on my this try, and due to
climate/supplier vagueries I didn't have much to work with. I
used all 4 chocolate habs that ripened true, combined with 4
equal sized Francisca habs, four cloves of garlic, salt and
vinegar. It is on the shelf, percolating along in a recycled
glass jar. The combination of orange and (nearly) black habs
reminded me of the horrible taffy the cheapskate homes give out
on halloween, so it is tentatively dubbed "Halloween Habanero
Sauce". It should be ready by then, according to carp's recipe.
If it turns out on the vile side of nasty, it will merely be "Failed
Experiment #237".
