....There's my darlin'! Happy to see your post. Now, I am not a
doomsdayer but hey, it don't hurt to hoard...um, (to FEMA I mean... put
away only a few items) soz not to be totally at the whim of retailers.

So I gots:

lots of dried chiles
hot sauce
some cannned vittles
toiletries (it's nice to have fresh breath and little body oder if'n yer
house bound awhile)
TOILET PAPER (hey, could be a good bartering tool)
Got my own personal well, jugs for stocking
wood stove and wood.....and plenty of property in the family to poach off of
batteries too
strike anywhere matches
oil lamps
flashlights
hermetically sealed can with non-hybrid garden seeds
and STUFF
and live in an area where there are boo-coos of deer, turkey and other 4
legged varmits to russle up if'n we want to bbq!

and as Rael mentions, I too work here at Cornell so if someone decides to
waste our research facilities and whatever else is here, I would be toast!

My best to all of you and hope we are still able to share our love of
chiles and humorous stories come the new year!

God Bless us everyone!
Linda
