yep,
   you DID mention jerk seasoning. mea culpa.
and while we mention jerk seasoning ....
my single biggest disappointment with any chile type product,
has to be Walker Woods hot jerk "paste". (should read "waste" )
i bought a jar of this stuff, cracked it open & sniffed ... expecting
some kind of caribe hab type blast ... nothing.      nothing.
might as well smell the grocery bag it was stuffed into.   nothing.
not even onion & allspice scented.
  added 2 tbsp. to the chicken-o-the-nite & JEEEEEEZZZZ
this stuff is SCREAMIN' hot, with absolutely ZERO chile flavour.
is the heat 100% extract?    don't know/care. won't buy it again.
