Hey CHs-
Having an abundance of pecans this year, I tried Myron's seasoned pecans
with a twist last night. We took them to a Christmas party and they
disappeared like dry ice on a hot plate.
I highly recommend it if you have extra pecans around.

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups shelled pecan halves
1 egg white
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
5 drops vanilla extract
1 chipotle, dehydrated & powdered
1 ripe Aji Amarillo, dehydrated & powdered

Mix egg white, vanilla and pecans in a mixing bowl until pecans are
evenly covered.

Blend powders, spices and sugar. Stir into pecan mix a little at a time
until evenly coated. Spoon onto ungreased aluminum foil set on baking
sheet, spread out as much as possible. Salt lightly before putting in
oven. Bake in preheated oven at 300 for 28-30 minutes. After cooling,
they peel right off the foil. MMmmmm.
Preparation time about 5 minutes.
I bet it would work substituting mixed nuts or peanuts, and just using
regular pepper powder, but I haven't tried it yet.
Next, I'm going to try using these nuts in cookies or ice cream or
something.
