Calvin--
We love your mix! Excellent flavor, and the most interesting hot I've ever
tasted--it really fills your whole mouth. Must be all the different kinds
of pods.

Anyway, we made a pseudo-scampi with it:
1/2 # shrimp, peeled & deveined
1/4 orange bell pepper, chopped
4 green onions, sliced
2 lg. cloves garlic, smashed and minced
Generous sprinkle of Calvin's powder (1/2 - 1 t)
salt and pepper
12 oz. linguinetti, cooked and drained, 1/2 C cooking water reserved

Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over med-hi heat until hot but not
smoking. Saute chopped bell pepper in oil until softened. Add green onions,
garlic, and shrimp. Dose with salt and pepper and Calvin's to taste. Saute
until shrimp are almost done. Add cooked, drained pasta to the skillet, and
stir in the reserved cooking water to bind; toss until everything is
well-combined. We had grated parmesan with it; chopped parsley would have
been a good choice, too. Serves two generously.

It's *really snowing* here.
