Question for you Northern growers.

Has anyone made an obseration of winter low temps vs numbers of garden bugs?

Last winter in my garden we had a -27F and the number of veggie chewers were
minimal.

This winter in only went down to -6.5F.

I think I am in for a buggie season.

Temps recorded on el cheapo digital therm.
with the lowest recordings

BTW Scott try those #'s plus a -50F wind chill
to get your Newsprint. Exposed body parts freeze in less than 3 min. Can you
get your newspaper in less than 10 sec.?
