You are right, Allen -- that bad cold is like getting hit by a bus,
all right.. Today is Day 6 for Jimmie, and really the worst. I
don't se how I can escape it, just in time for Christmas. Jim
decided that he should eat up a storm in order to recover
quickly, and I am jumping thru hoops to provide enough..
but winter has arrived officially, because he requested a
hot toddy (boiling water, Myers's rum, sugar and butter) and
says it stops the cough -- ....

Question: do you ever leave any of the onions in the ground over
the winter? BTW, the assortment on my kitchen counter are
probably growing so marvelously because they get watered every
2nd day with very dilute 10-60-17, or something like that. The 100
annual flower seedlings under grow lights are getting too tall and
lush for their protected home, and they also get that dilute formula
fertilzer. Many of them are full sized plants already! I should try it
in
Jimmie's vegetable garden next summer....
