The "spam" mail is very irritating in my opinion. I use Microsoft Outlook (MS Exchange has the capability also); and you can set your email to automatically delete emails from a particular address. This option is found under the Tools/Inbox Assistant/Add Rules option of mail, if your are interested. At least this keeps me from having to filter throught emails that I KNOW I don't want. You will have to add a rule for every address that SPAMs you. I don't know if other email packages offer this feature. kk -----Original Message----- From: A.B. Actually, the amount of spam I receive has increased drastically in just the last week. Some give you instructions to remove your name but when you ask to be removed your e-mail just returns to you as undeliverable. I haven't received anything from the gourdpatch in over a week. Is it not working?" I've been told that responding to one of those "remove my name" offers is counterproductive --- it just lets them know that their spam reached a live address, which they weren't sure of otherwise. Just delete it and forget it. I'm only getting a small handful of spam each week. The gourdpatch list is working OK --- could you be unsubscribed or something? Regourds, A.B.
