Hi Lillian:

Thanks again for the thorough reply to my questions.  I am very interested
in trying some of the veggie forms if you find the source's address.  In the
meantime, I will look for interesting glass bottles.  Now it makes sense
about the form being clear.  I was thinking from another angle about the
gourd needing sunlight, etc.  Completely ignored the fact that I would not
know when it was 'full'.  Duh!!!!  I guess one thing to take into
consideration in the process is the size potential of the gourd also.  A
gourd with large potential in a form that is too small will fill the space
before it is mature and if removed before maturity, will not harden, right?

Your observations about the 'baby fuzz' on immature gourds really makes
sense to me too.  I need to take more time observing and less time thinking
sometimes.  

I will look forward to the info on the forms when you have time to look for
it.  I have boxes of stuff I have 'saved for reference' and I'd hate someone
to ask me to find an item stored in one of them.  Yikes!  

I am so excited about this year.  And it is nearly planting time here
according to my county agent - sometime between February 2 and Sept. 2!
