 I'm with you Mike.  Different chiles hit me in different areas.  I also 
seem to be really sensitive to the "hot" in cayennes and have to be 
really careful with these as the heat usually destroys the flavor for 
me.  Oddly, this is not true with hotter peppers like Thai or even Habs.  
Sure the heat is there but so is the flavor.   Go figure!
