Hey! I boogied in to the Pavillions Market in West Hills Calif. this
morning and found they now carry sauces from Kaitaia Fire, a company
in Lake Ohia, Kaitaia, New Zealand. One is a small (50 ml) bottle of
Chili Pepper Sauce which is pretty good. Then there is Waha Wera, a
Kiwifruit & Habanero Sauce. They say, "We grow our Habanros, the
world's hottest pepper in New Zealands Far North. Their unique tropical
fruit flavor is an ideal complement to the kiwifruit and manuka honey.
Ts is a serious sauce. Use with caution. The management of Kaitaia
Fire accept no responsibility for any damage inflicted to over-inflated
egos or substandard kitchenware."
Ingredients: Habanero peppers, manuka honey, kiwifruit, spices, sugar,
salt, acetic acid.

This is a tasty sauce and it is pretty nippy. Sort of took my breath
away. In fact, I still have a bit of trouble talking. I think my
vocal cords are paralysed.
