As Im in the Construction Industry myself and Generally Come after the
Drywall stage as its Called in the US of a /e.g. Painting I have for years
told people here in Oz to use Plasterboard to break down their soil.
Our soils here in Oz / coastal regions IMHO ,are generally either 4-6
inches of top soil over shale or sand both of which need Building up and
as the Great Aussie dream is to own your own Home "Damm the Cost">
some of the new home Owners are Strugling when it comes to the Garden
having spent most of their money on our over-inflated land prices and
Building Costs .
so any work they can do on weekends at minimal cost is a bonus - Its quite
hard work to break drywall into small scraps by hand ,I personally used a
Tiller that my late Neighbour had . 1/2 a gallon of gas was good for about
an hour of mixing ,didn't take the paper off either
