[CH] Wall of water

Would be interested in hearing how you do with wall of water protectants? I
tried them one year and really didn't see it done any more good than a
gallon plastic milk jug with the top cut off.  Perhaps I done something
wrong.  We seem to have so much wind here in Iowa so all tender plants need
protection.  My chilis are still in front room in window sill on the
electric blanket and doing fairly well.  Garden is still too muddy to
rototill or even think of planting.
